The Piazza Castello chessboard is a porcelain stoneware game board with lines that evoke its animal loading position.
Castle Square is an authentic limited edition work of art, with the dual function of a game and a decorative element. In fact, the box with the displayed checkers and the game board can be hung on the wall, like paintings that decorate the room with elegance. The checkers are handcrafted from porcelain stoneware, and the chessboard is inlaid by hand with fine woods (oak and maple) in a natural finish.
Each creation is made of porcelain stoneware, a prestigious ceramic mixture fired at high temperatures (1200°C). A durable, waterproof and washable material.
The color range is exclusive, designed and perfected within the Lineasette laboratory.
The matte, monochrome coating gives a raw dotted color and an elegant chiaroscuro effect.
The surface of the work feels rough and textural to the touch.
