THE THOUGHT.

EGOUNDESIGN designs with the understanding that one can go beyond the known, identifies a pattern and chooses to disrupt it. The challenge from the beginning is to do unconventional design.

3D Printing

In constant exploratory research to discover innovative and sustainable materials and achieve an increasingly refined print finish. Regards 3D printing as a production technique in its own right, versatile, adaptable to just-in-time needs and full of potential yet to be explored.

Italianità

EGOUNDESIGN follows an Italian supply chain with dedication in all its stages. From material selection to production, every step takes place in Italy, guaranteeing authenticity and integrity to its products.

Innovation

At EGOUNDESIGN, craftsmanship meets digital innovation. Thanks to 3D printing, each piece is individually produced with the care of a craftsman and the precision of technology. The company combines tradition, new production logic and artificial intelligence to create what it likes to call "digital craftsmanship."

CENTO3

Achille Castiglioni's last project.

In 2001, Achille Castiglioni together with his friend and architect Gianfranco Cavaglià confronted the importance and meaning of grip. Together they design a set of pencils and pens, creating various wooden prototypes of them that are kept in the Castiglioni archives to this day. The goal is to focus attention on the importance of the pencil as an everyday tool and medium for expressing ideas, visions and thoughts. For these writing and drawing instruments they thought of a three-lobed arched shape that, thanks to its functional characteristics, would concretize the true alliance between mind, hand and object.

TRILObyME

Designed to meet the most contemporary need for portable and compact tools: the result is a practical case. In 10cm is contained all the creativity of the multifunction CENTO3, Achille Castiglioni's latest design: from pen to pencil, from crayon to highlighter in a gesture.

WANTED

A vertical sculptural system consisting of six hollow pieces with the function of vessels. The pieces, inspired by rocks used in the art of oriental stone balancing and shaped with massive geometries and faceted surfaces, can assemble vertically through twenty-four magnets - 2 north and 2 south per piece. Through a unique machine designed by 3D4MEC, a Bologna-based company that is a leading manufacturer of 3D printers for metals, it is indeed possible to realize this brass project.
