GIOVANNETTI COLLEZIONI
History
1960s. An era that broke the mould and rewrote forms.
It was in that context that Giovannetti was born, leaving a definite mark on the history of Italian design: icons that stand the test of time, because they were born to overcome it.
From the very beginning, the tension is toward the unexpected.
Benito Giovannetti starts the first productions by opening a direct dialogue with the great masters of Italian design. Experimenting is not a quirk, but a clear direction.
Bauhaus, Bazaar: among the works created in those years, Giovannetti's identity begins to emerge clearly.
A nonconformist, recognizable approach that breaks the rules of the traditional form and projects the brand on the international scene.
In the 1970s one of his most emblematic designs came to life: Anfibio, conceived by Benito Giovannetti and designed together with Alessandro Becchi. Not just a sofa, but a sign that synthesizes design, function and vision, which entered the permanent collection of MoMA New York in 1972.
Since then, and to this day, Giovannetti carries on the same vocation: to create innovative, original and functional furniture elements, capable of combining aesthetic research and contemporary refinement.
A consistency that becomes an identity value: not to follow the dominant taste, but to define its own.
Collaborations and appearances
The Giovannetti brand has always enjoyed high visibility through advertising campaigns and numerous articles in the Italian and foreign press.
The liveliness of the products has allowed them to appear in many TV programs, both Rai and Mediaset (which have become regular customers over time) and also films and TV series, such as Son tornate a fiorire le rose e Zanardi Street, 33.
